Ashton was a joy to work with at her bridal portrait shoot at the Terrace Club in Dripping Springs, Texas. The Hill Country view off the balcony and hill overlooking the valley were breathtaking, as was she in her gown. She was down to earth and up for everything we wanted to try, and we spent nearly two hours racing the sunset to capture her beautiful portraits. Alex met us at the end of the evening after she’d changed, and while we refused to let him sneak a peek at any of her photos, their love, beauty, and excitement to get married were in the air. Just a few more weeks!
When my friend and fellow wedding photographer Kastle Brandy asked me to shoot Ashton and Alex’s wedding with her, she promised the bridal would be something special. Ashton was as beautiful and easy going as promised. Their venue at the Terrace Club in Dripping Springs has a Hill Country view of the sunset like few other. I’ve rarely been so excited for a hot and humid outdoor July wedding as this gorgeous bridal session made me. I can’t wait for the wedding in a few weeks!
Miriah & Hunter are in Austin together for just a short time before her parents move out of state. They had just enough time to squeeze in an engagement shoot during his visit. With the historic rains and flooding, we chose the indoor venue at the Texas State Capitol. It alternated between booming thunder and driving rain to clear skies and a rainbow! Check out my other favorites in their Sneak Peek. Best of luck to you for your wedding next December!
Lauren & Nathanial’s wedding at Texas Old Town Stone Hall in Kyle, TX was so much fun. She has such a great smile and laughs easily, drawing everyone else in. Their happiness was so easy to see. They’ve known each other such a long time, it must have been an amazing relief to finally be married! Here are the rest of my favorites in addition to their Sneak Peek. A gorgeous venue behind them for an intimate reception with friends. They were originally supposed to get married in August, but I was right there along with them when they decided to move their wedding up to May. My husband and I did the same thing 18 years ago!
