Jamie’s dad hauled his 1951 vintage Chevy truck all the way to Austin from Victoria, TX for her bridal session at Texas Old Town in Kyle. And it was worth it! Jamie once again had fun props from her cowboy boots, hunting rifle, her old red “Going to Grandma’s House” suitcase from her childhood now repurposed as her wedding makeup kit, and of course this amazing electric blue truck. The weather was drizzly and overcast that day, but it was dry enough to shoot in the open by the time the sun set. Jamie and Edward will be getting married in Victoria in a few weeks, so it’s my turn for a road trip! I love working with couples through their engagement, bridal, and wedding shoots because it’s always like making new friends.
Jamie came up from Victoria, TX for her bridal at Texas Old Town with her dad’s 1951 hauled up with her. The rustic spot was a perfect match to show off her personality for all things outdoors, hunting, and south Texas. I loved working with her again after her engagement session with fiancé, Edward, and can’t wait to edit the rest of this session!
Nancy & Gabriel were married in a beautiful ceremony in Kyle at St Anthony Catholic Church with a reception following at Crystal River Inn in downtown San Marcos, TX. I loved these two poignant shots and feel the black and white helps highlight the tender emotion in them. More to come!
