Congratulations to Gina and Matthew on a great wedding and wonderful details in a beautiful natural outdoor location, but also for being one of the most laid back hands on brides ever. Here are my favorites now that the whole set is ready to deliver. She had so many special touches, but didn’t get stressed, feel pressed for time, or overwhelmed. She remained calm throughout the entire night, even though she had to take some deep zen breaths occasionally. She assembled a great team to help things run smoothly with a friendly, helpful, and funny bridal party! As well as vendors like Sophie’s Cakes, DJ Ray the People’s DJ, and David’s Bridal for her beautiful ivory lace gown and the groom’s party suits. She left her train down all night saying, “It’s my wedding, I’m only going to wear this once! I want to WEAR it and have fun!” She looked like a princess.

Amanda and Chris planned a Texas Old Town wedding that barely escaped the rain so they could enjoy and outdoor ceremony. With a Texas chic theme with jeans, boots, and hats, great bbq, and a stunningly beautiful couple, Redbud Hall lit up! Their vows were tender yet full of jokes, and who doesn’t love a priest who retells the story of Johnny Lingo’s nine-cow wife during his ceremony sermon? It’s Texas, after all, so cows are part of most weddings ’round these here parts. I wish you all the best with your adorable little son as you go through life together as husband and wife.

Gina and Matthew chose Hye Meadow Winery between Austin and Fredericksburg for their outdoor sunset ceremony. As the sun drops in the sky, it gives really  interesting creative light options for the soft glow, haze, and starburst sun flare with amazing colors and rainbows. It’s like a prediction of a beautiful marriage.

Sarah and Branson had a gorgeous, elegantly country chic wedding at Texas Old Town in April. Redbud Hall was amazing as Branson’s mother Donna Musselman, an event coordinator, did a fantastic job with the decor using weathered wood, glass, flowers, and so many amazing details to create a rich mood. I popped in before the rehearsal dinner and wondered where everything was going to fit, but when I arrived before the ceremony the hall was decked out for the most beautifully detailed reception.

Sarah used a butterfly theme to highlight her background as an entymologist, and Branson enjoyed some Texas barbeque while wearing his camo suspenders and cowboy boots at the reception. The couple was so funny and sweet in a classy way, and they’re so beautiful in such a great location it was easy to capture them looking their best. Congratulations on your new adventure together. And just remember as Pastor Rex said, if it rains on your wedding day, and then stops, and then rains again, you’ll be wealthy, long lived, and wet!
